Seamark Foods wins customer service award

The winners of the first Customer Service Excellence Award were the management and staff of Seamark Foods in Nags Head.

The Outer Banks Hotel/Motel Association developed the Customer Service Excellence Award to raise awareness of the importance of quality customer service among the area's business community. It is to be given to any qualifying business in Dare County which consistently exhibits customer service excellence.

Seamark Foods was chosen during the April 25 association meeting. The award citation reads, "Seamark Foods - Nags Head has exhibited a culture of excellent customer service in the attitudes and demeanor of the management and staff. The ownership has established a reputation for outstanding community citizenship. Seamark Foods - Nags Head represents a hospitality ideal that all Outer Banks businesses should strive to attain." The award was presented at Seamark Foods on May 17.
